With the new Alto 800 making it to the scene, we have started expecting some record-breaking sales from this tiny-tot.
Now in a mega event conducted at a Kottakkunnu authorised Maruti dealership, the company delivered as many as 200 Alto 800s at a single go. It is claimed that this is the first time in India when so many units of any car model have been delivered to customers at the same time.
Kottakkunnu is located in Mallapuram distt, near Calicut in Kerala. The more interesting part here is that all the 200 customers who received their car in the event had booked their Alto 800s before they had seen any images of the car. They did not even have any information on the car.
The keys of all the Alto 800s were handed over to the customers by Mr. PK Kunhalikutty, Minister for Industries and Information Technology, (Kerala).
The new Alto 800 is creating big waves across the country with its price and 22.74 (ARAI Approved) fuel efficiency.
