Ameo, Volkswagen’s Compact Sedan for India Unveiled!

Volkswagen has finally unwrapped its much awaited sub 4 metre compact sedan Ameo. Set to be launched in the second half of 2016, the car will be competing against some well established competition like the Dzire and Amaze. Based on the same PQ25 platform of the Polo, the car looks like the hatch with a boot attached in a neat fashion.

The car has been designed and engineered especially for the Indian market and will be manufactured at the Chakan facility in Pune. Sporting signature Volkswagen characteristics the Ameo gets a sharp and sporty stance. Targeted towards the urban youth the Ameo is probably their most important new product.
