The Audi R8 LMS Ultra boasts of several technical and structural modifications in comparison to its predecessor, hence the ‘ultra’ tag. It is 40 kgs lighter, with over 500 Nm of torque, finer aerodynamics, wider front wheels and better brake cooling making it one of the most competitive cars on the track. The Audi R8 LMS Ultra also clocked the brand’s first ever victory at the 24 hours of Nürburgring earlier this year in May, finishing first and second in stunning fashion.

On this occasion, Audi India Head, Mr. Michael Perschke said,  “It is very exciting for us to see our race talent return to the Nürburgring for another challenging race. We are confident that Aditya’s skills and the sheer performance of the Audi R8 LMS Ultra will blend together for a favourable outcome. Aditya has tested the supreme technology of the car today and his comfort level with it is exceptional. He has shown considerable promise so far and we are very happy to take our relationship with Aditya to the next level“.

An ecstatic Aditya said, “All I see before my eyes now is the starting line at the Nürburgring. That is my level of excitement. The testing was successful, the car is a superb piece of technology and combined with the expert partnership of the legendary Marco Werner, I am very confident about our capabilities in finishing the race. The Audi R8 LMS Ultra is powerful, has fantastic balance, is extremely stable around the corners and drives like none other on the track.
