BMW 520d M Sport Launched at Rs 54 lakhs

BMW has launched the new 520d M Sport in India for Rs 54 lakhs (ex-showroom, Delhi). Based on the sporty and dynamic new 5 series, the car is locally produced at BMW’s Chennai facility and will be available at all dealerships across the country. Placed below the more powerful 530d M Sport (which gets a bigger 3.0 litre engine), the new version tries to offer athletic elegance without costing a bomb.

Mated to this is an 8 speed Steptronic Sport automatic transmission which is capable of hurling the car from 0 to 100 kmph in 7.7 second.
