BMW Group India announced the successor of Dr Andreas Schaaf, president of BMW Group India. Philipp von Sahr will be heading BMW Group India effective October 1, 2012.
Philipp von Sahr (54) is currently the president of BMW Group Belgium-Luxemburg. Dr Andreas Schaaf will hold a new executive position at BMW Group Headquarters in Munich. BMW India maintained its number one position in the competitive Indian luxury car market under the tenureship of Dr Andreas Schaaf.
About Philipp von Sahr, born in 1958 completed his Master of Business Administration from the University of Munich.He started his career with BMW AG in 1987.He was the head of sales for BMW Group Germany before being the president of BMW Group Belgium-Luxemburg.
