Chevrolet’s Sail has been one product from the company that has not been doing as good as they would have thought, despite a luring price tag. It may partly has to do with its Chinese roots and uninspiring styling.
To catapult sales, Chevrolet is running various offers on this compact sedan to ensure it starts doing some brisk business for them. In a latest, Chevrolet has launched a new Limited Edition of their Sail sedan which comes with the following enhancements & features:
- New graphics and decals
- Limited edition seat covers
- chrome garnish to the boot lid
- reverse parking sensors
- Outside rear view mirrors (ORVMs) with side blinkers
- Limited Edition badge
- Illuminated sill plates
- Cushion Pillows (pheww..!)
Sail is available with added accessories and cosmetic kit. Chevrolet is offering an additional discount of Rs 30,000 adding the total tally upto Rs 45,600 in total. This includes exchange offer, loyalty bonus, corporate discounts etc.
It is powered by a 1.2L petrol engine and the 1.3L Multijet diesel engine and is rated at fuel efficiencies of 18.2kmpl and 22.1kmpl respectively. Chevrolet Sail scores in offering a good interior space, better trunk and interesting price tag which starts at Rs 5.23 Lacs ex-showroom for the entry level petrol variant.
