Chevrolet, along with launching the Beat facelift, also unveiled their SUV concept at the Auto Expo called as ADRA. Chevy has been teasing the silhouette shots of the car for the last couple of days.
The car looks typical chevy with the traditional Chevrolet logo, sleeker grille, larger airdam, futuristic headlamps and higher stance. The company informs that Adra concept has been designed entirely at GM’s Technical Center in Bengaluru in India.
The Chevy design language has been used for the concept and comes with high ground clearance, high seating position, generous interior space and they promise exceptional all-around visibility.
Adra comes with long swept back headlamps and flatter falling roofline with silver coloured roofrails. Adra is surrounded by black coloured cladding and has a similar coloured complementing roof. In a toned down trim, Adra appears to be a definite production-deserving model and we are sure we can expect it to be launched in India sometime soon.
Against what was expected, Adra doesn’t share a lot of commonality with the Trax and instead, it appears to be an all-new completely different variant. While Trax is more rounded, Adra is sharper and has more creases and lines flowing through. It is interesting to see that Chevrolet chose India as the global unveiling venue for Adra and it is just a matter of time we start seeing its mules on our roads.
