Chevrolet unveiled their Enjoy MPV at 2012 Auto Expo in Delhi. It is one car after the Sail twins that will be one of the most important for Chevy in India.
This Enjoy MPV has been spotted several times on the roads of Pune and other cities. Now the latest update is that the company has started production of the MPV which means the launch could be sometime in March.
The Enjoy will be available in both petrol and diesel versions. Enjoy will come with a 1.4-Liter 95 PS Petrol engine and the omnipresent 1.3-Liter Multijet Diesel Engine which, we believe will come in the 90 PS with Variable Geometry Turbocharger (VGT).
The Enjoy is mainly targeted to counter the likes of the Maruti Suzuki Ertiga which has been in instant hit in the market along with the slow starter Nissan Evalia which is all set to come in a slightly better trim. From the current launches of the Sail U-VA and specially the Sail Sedan, it is expected that the Enjoy could start a price-war in the segment.
The Sail hatch and the Sail sedan, both are from the Chevy-SIAC (SIAC is a Chinese subsidiary of General Motors) stable and that is one of the reason that they are priced very well. The Upcoming Enjoy is also from the same stable and is expected to follow suit.
