The festive season brings with it tons of new models by different car makers which try to woo and attract buyers in whatever capacity they can. For existing cars, manufacturers offer steal discounts or some added features.
Nissan’s budget brand Datsun has launched the Datsun Go NXT. This special limited edition will be available only to 1,000 car buyers who want their Go to give more value. The Go NXT is based on their range topping T variant. The new car will carry a price tag of Rs 4,09,912 (ex-showroom, Delhi). The company claims that for the marginal 5,000 bucks extra, the customer can get benefits worth a total of Rs 20,000.

The engine remains the same punchy 1.2 litre in-line three cylinder mill producing 68 PS of maximum power at 5,000 rpm and 104 Nm of peak torque at 4,000 rpm.
Apart from this the company is also organizing a carnival in the Southern part of the country which will be a three day affair at each dealership. Datsun dealerships will carry a festive look and will be open till midnight. All customers, during this carnival can win prizes ranging from accessories worth Rs 3,500 and gold worth Rs 12,000.

The Go NXT will be available for sale at all 196 Datsun dealerships in India from August 2015 to December 2015!
For some reason, Datsun’s website lists the price tag of the Go NXT to be Rs 3,23,000 (ex-showroom, Delhi) which is even less than the price of its entry level base variant D, retailing at Rs 3,23,542! We have shot them an email and await a clarification on this…
