Figo Aspire Engines
Like EcoSport, Figo Aspire is powered by three engines – 2 in petrol and 1 in diesel
1.2 Liter Ti-VCT Petrol: This is the same 1.2 liter petrol motor from the old Figo, however, heavily reworked and produces 88 PS of peak power and 112 Nm of max torque . It is mated to a 5-speed manual transmission. It gets an ARAI approved fuel efficiency rating of 18.16 kmpl
1.5 Liter Ti-VCT Petrol: This bigger petrol engine outputs 112 PS of maximum power and 136 Nm of peak torque. With this engine Figo Aspire no more gets the ‘Small’ car classification (and benefits), however it offers a 6-Speed Powershift DCT automatic gearbox. With the bigger engine and automatic transmission, Figo Aspire returns 17.2 kmpl.
1.5 Liter TDCI Diesel: The lone diesel engine is the ubiquitous 1.5 liter TDCI mill which now produces 100 PS of peak power and 215 Nm of peak torque, both figures higher than EcoSport. It is mated to a 5-speed manual transmission. With an ARAI rated fuel efficiency of 25.83 kmpl, it becomes one of the most fuel efficient cars in the country.
