Ford India to spread the festive joy, has introduced a Signature range of accessories for the EcoSport. The sub 4 metre compact SUV is the American manufacturer’s one of the best selling products in the country. Called as the Ford EcoSport Black, this edition starts with a sticker price of Rs 9,26,194 (ex-showroom, Delhi).
Mechanically the SUV is powered by the same engine options. The 1.5 litre TDCi diesel churns out 100 PS of power and has an efficiency of 22.27 kmpl while the 1.5 litre TiVCT petrol produces 112 PS of power. As the ford EcoSport Black Edition is available only on the Titanium range, 1.0 litre EcoSport lovers cannot get their hands on it.
Visually, it gets accessories, including fitment and painting, of Rs 37,894. These include:
- Re-styled front and rear bumpers
- New body graphics with EcoSport branding
- LED daytime running lamps
- Illuminated scuff plates
- Black vinyl seat covers with red stitching
The LED daytime running lamps is a new feature. The array if 5 LEDs below the fog lamp adds up to the visual appeal of the Ford EcoSport Black Edition. Other features include:
- All-black exteriors including a black grille
- Black-out moulded headlamps
- 16-inch black alloy wheels
- Black mirror covers
- Black fog lamp bezel
- Black roof rails
- Roof cross bars
The EcoSport gets up to 6 airbags for driver and passenger protection. The petrol powered Titanium without the package starts at Rs 8.70 lakhs (ex-showroom, Delhi).
