From Now on, HP will Develop In-Car Electronics for Renault’s Electric Cars

Renault the French auto maker has selected Hewlett Packard (more popular as HP) to develop the in-car electronics for their electric cars.  

Telematics is a system which helps the driver to keep a check on the lithium-ion battery. It displays charge rate, and location of the next charging station. This system also provides live traffic updates and other cloud computing based applications.

The Renault-Nissan is currently world’s fourth largest automotive group. By selecting HP enterprise cloud services – utility services to host its European IT infrastructure and manage its technical applications, a new era of development is expected with those innovative brains working with HP.
