The Koreans are doing it and doing it in style. The aggressive Hyundai is as it is one a rampage and is now looking at the future! At the 82nd Geneva International Motor Show, Hyundai revealed its ‘range-extended electric sports hatchback’ called as the i-oniq.
The i-oniq is Hyundai’s demonstration of next evolution of its fluidic designing. I-oniq is designed at Hyundai’s European R&D center in Germany.
Details of the i-oniq:
- i-oniq is powered by a 1 Liter 3 cylinder petrol engine
- Capable of generating 61PS of power
- Connected to a 80Kw lithium-ion electric motor
- I-oniq can travel 120 kilometers in electric-only mode
- Top speed of 145kmph
