Nissan Launches ‘Happy with Nissan’ Free Check-Up Camps Across India

Nissan becomes the third manufacturer after Hyundai and Skoda to start its summer service camps. The campaign has been named ‘Happy with Nissan’ and the phase 1 began from May 9 and will continue till May 18.

The company is organising service camps at 66 authorised service centre outlets in cities spread across the country. Customers can drop in and get their vehicles washed and thoroughly checked by qualified Nissan service centre staff, free of any charges. All vehicles will go through an extensive 60 point check. They would also be offered a 20 percent discount on Nissan Extended Warranty for their vehicles however, it is applicable only for those cars which are covered under warranty period at present.

The customers will be given 20 per cent discount in labour charges in case a fault is found which needs to be attended to. The company has also planned various engagement activities and lucky draws for customers and their families where they can win Nissan genuine car care products, movie tickets, shopping vouchers and other gifts.

The company has started this initiative to connect to its customers, interact with them face to face and increase customer confidence and satisfaction. This initiative comes days after the inauguration of a new Parts Distribution Centre in Chennai.

Nissan has been working hard to change its brand image in front of its customers, since the distasteful split with Hover Automobiles. Facilities like 60 minute express service, mobile service vans (which shall become 25 in number by May end) shall go down a long way and ultimately help in increasing their sales volumes and more importantly making their image more friendly. From the customer’s perspective, this would translate down to lower periodic maintenance costs.
