Massachusettes-based company Terrafugia will reveal its flying car at the New York International Auto show here in April.
The car has foldable wings which tuck in when it is on the road. Within seconds it can convert itself into a flying machine.The car can fly for 460 miles with full tank and with a speed of 110 miles per hour. The company calls this flying machine ‘Transition Roadable Aircraft’
Terrafugia said that the Transition will be ready for sale for USD 279,000 by the end of the year. Approximately 100 of the car have already been booked.
The 2012 New York International Show will be held from April 6 to April 15.
