Hindustan Motors Gearing Up to Launch New Cars: Pajero to be Locally Assembled

When you name the ‘Hindustan Motors Ambassador’, all one can think of is either a yellow colored taxi or a white car with Red Beacon on the hood! To change that tag, Hindustan Motors (HM) had worked on the age old Ambassador and came out with two new variants and a van named as Winner; but that didn’t really help. Now, once again the company is planning to launch some new variants of passenger vehicles and light commercial vehicles. HM will also start assembling the Mitsubishi Pajero Sport locally.

Besides, HM also aims to strengthen its sales and service network, especially in semi-urban areas and opening new warehouses in order to make the delivery of its vehicles in due time. The company is also working on the existing diesel engine to meet the BS IV emission norms. This move is expected to help the manufacturer to regain its position in taxi segment, particularly in known and tested regions. The company is also working on improving its margins through operational inefficiencies and value engineering.

Though, based on the previous figures, we’re still doubtful abut the success of the upcoming models from the house of HM; but it’s better late than never. So, let’s wish the company success and positive growth figures in future!
