Honda Cars India Ltd has initiated its latest drive, called as the ‘Longest Drive through Amazing India’ on their successful compact sedan, Amaze. This drive was flagged off from Jodhpur to commemorate the success of Amaze in the Indian market.
The 23,000km long drive would be passing across the country via 250 cities and towns so that people can get to know the true essence of India, its diverse culture and the beautiful and serene locations which are there in every centimetre of the country.
The Amaze has been the fastest selling Honda car in India yet, with over 1,00,000 units sold in just 16 months. The drive will pass through mountainous terrains, coastlines, highways, congested city roads and the interiors of India giving a chance to the Amaze to portray to the world its durability and reliability.
The drive will also be graced by numerous customer meets which will give a chance to Honda Amaze customers to be a part of the fun filled atmosphere but can also participate in sections of the drive. Such initiatives always help in increasing the popularity of a car as they are able to bring out an invigorating and new aspect of the car, much to the delight of the customers.
Honda Amaze continues to post some strong numbers which is really encouraging for Honda, despite all the new competition. The company is also in the middle of an expansion spree and they intend to score 230 outlets by the end of the financial year 2014-15.
