With this new plant, Honda has just doubled its production capacity and can now produce 20,000 units per month. In the short term you can expect waiting period of high selling Honda models such as the new City, Amaze to come down. This also means that Honda is better prepared to handle the demand after they launch the new Mobilio MPV, New Jazz & the Brio based Compact SUV in India, all of which are high-volume products.

Honda will start launching these products from mid of this year starting with the Mobilio, continuing with the Jazz and ending the onslaught with the EcoSport rivalling compact SUV sometime next year.
