Hyundai played a master-stroke with the new-gen i10 which was launched recently in India and the world over. While the international markets got the older i10 replaced, Hyundai modified it for Indian tastes and needs and launched it as a more premium version of the i10 and named it as Grand i10!
Nontheless, for all practical reasons, we can call the new international i10 as almost the same car as the Indian Grand i10. Hyundai has launched the i10 sport in Germany which now becomes the South Korea based company’s cheapest hot hatch. The car looks pretty impressive, giving it a very aggressive styling with a no nonsense image excessive chrome job or truck loads of stickers!

The ‘Sport’ features are limited to the cosmetic changes and there are no mechanical tweaks as the car continues to be throttled by the 1.2L four cylinder, naturally aspirated petrol mill, producing 87 PS of power, pushing the car to hit a ton in 12.3s and topping out at 175kmph.
The i10 Sport comes fully equipped with music connectivity and LED daytime running lights. The car has been priced at €13,990 which equates to something in the region of Rs 11,37,665 INR. This is a Germany specific special edition but it looks hot and this is how special editions should be made; a learning for some manufacturers who believe chrome is the end of the world!
