Hyundai Launches Creta at Ambitious Prices: Diesel Starts at Over 10 Lakh OTR

So, everything prior to its launch – rave media reviews, right amount of positive hype etc, was going in its favor but suddenly, wait for one of the most awaited compact SUV has turned out to be a damp squib with greed taking precedence over sensibilities…

At an event in Delhi today, Hyundai has launched its Duster-rivaling compact SUV Creta at prices which could potentially kill the product after the initial hype. Looks like Hyundai went too overconfident with the super-success of Grand i10 and new Elite i20. Anyways, here are the important pointers and features of the SUV…

  1. I love the way you guys pull no punches when it comes to car manufacturers today. Where else in the world does an SUV come without 4WD as an option. And for 15 lacs? Maybe Singapore, but it would be interesting to know what the similarly equipped model in China costs.

Thanks for saying what needs to be said.

  2. Ya m agree with Sam’s opinions.. Here in India price is a little bit high. So many r knocking the door to taste the level of SUV .. At a price bracket of ₹ 14 lakhs ; we need to think twice.
This time buyers r smarter than manufacturer….:))
