Hyundai Officially Releases Sketches of Creta; Launch Next Month

So gradually, Hyundai is building up the tempo. After revealing its official name a few days back, the company has shared its sketches with the media and there is no big surprise here. The Creta carries forward the legacy of the ix25 concept which was showcased earlier.

As we have seen earlier with almost all sketches, Creta, from these renderings looks as if this is the next best thing after Evoque, intensely sporty! However, the real production compact SUV will be a lot more toned down. But it does look interesting and will offer a typical Korean face amidst the Dusters and EcoSports of our world. The picture set also includes interiors and they look fresh and sporty with that dual tone theme and flowing dashboard design.

In terms of engines, Creta is expected to get the 1.6 liter petrol and diesel mills from Verna and there is a possibility of the compact SUV featuring the smaller 1.4 liter diesel motor as well to ensure a low entry price point. Hyundai has scheduled the media drive of the car towards the end of this month and a report predicts its official launch date on 21st of July!
