Isuzu D-Max V-Cross Priced at Rs 12.49 Lakhs; Bookings Open

D-Max V-Cross Price announced; deliveries commence in two months…

Isuzu has announced that they have started accepting bookings of their much awaited D-Max V-Cross in India and has revealed its prices. The utility vehicle will cost Rs 12.49 Lakhs ex-showroom in Chennai which makes it a fairly interesting offering bang in the middle of SUVs and Crossovers (and a few other pick-ups).

D-Max V-Cross is the country’s first adventure utility vehicle and will be manufactured at their recently inaugurated facility at Sri City, Andhra Pradesh. Deliveries are expected to commence from the month of July. Showcased first at the Auto Expo in February 2016, the D-Max V-Cross is a combination of rugged off-roading capability and passenger car like comforts (claimed).

Catering not just to personal vehicle buyers, the product is also targeted towards entrepreneurs who need to carry their work with them. The chassis has been made on the Isuzu Gravity Response Intelligent Platform which, the company claims, helps in maintaining stability even at high speeds and sharp curves.

Mated with a 5 speed manual transmission with shift on fly four wheel drive, the V-Max claims to offer best in class efficiency, durability and reliability. The external appearance has a wedge shaped design with flowing lines and gets a flat underbody. If a lot of these are claims and can only be ascertained upon a test drive, let us tell you, it looks ominous!

Apart from this, Isuzu has also started accepting bookings for the new generation D-Max Regular Cab pick-up truck which will be sold as a commercial vehicle.
