Jaguar India has added another variant to their new entry level series, the XE Prestige and priced it at Rs 43.69 lakhs (ex-showroom, Mumbai). Placed between the entry level Pure and range topping Portfolio, it will be available at all 23 authorised Jaguar retail outlets. The car gets the same 2.0 litre petrol mill with the same tune as of the entry level variant but gains several features from the Portfolio.
The engine churns out 200 PS of maximum power at 5,500 rpm and 320 Nm of peak torque at 1,750 rpm. Mated to this is an 8 speed automatic gearbox which helps it sprint from 0 to 100 kmph in 7.7 second and has a top whack of 237 kmph. The car though gains the following features:

- Head light powerwash
- Taurus leather seats

However, the XE Prestige still misses out on dual tailpipe, Softgrain Windsor leather seats, 4 way lumbar support adjustment for front seats, surround camera system and keyless entry found in the Portfolio trim.
