Jazz Outsells Siblings City & Amaze in the First Month of Sales!

Ever since the launch of Amaze, Honda has been on a rampage and their diesel engine has brought them back to the reckoning. The new City has been the largest selling mid-sized car for a long time now. However, the City as well as the Amaze now seem to have a competitor within the stables – the new Jazz!

According to the official sales release for the month, the new Jazz has registered sales of 6,676 units in July 2015 against the 5,180 odd units recorded by City and 4,589 units of the Amaze. This is a nice little start to the party, however, these are still lesser than the 10,000 plus units the new Elite i20 (+ i20 Active) brings to Hyundai’s monthly tally.

Honda’s seven seater Mobilio is the only recent launch which has not been able to bring heavy volumes. For the month of July 2015, the company registered sales of only 909 units of the MPV. Honda registered a growth of 18 per cent on a year on year basis, selling 18,606 units in July 2015 in comparison to 15,709 units in the same month last year.
