Jaguar to Launch F-Type & Refreshed XF, XJ; JLR Registers 32% Growth in 2012

The luxury car market of India is really becoming bigger and grander everyday! In the calender year of 2011, Jaguar Land Rover (JLR) sold a total of 1813 cars in India and in the calender year of 2012, the company has managed to sell 2389 cars registering an impressive 32 percent growth compared to last year.

Commenting on this occasion, Mr. Rohit Suri, Vice President of JLR India said: Despite difficult economic circumstances and a general slowdown in the Indian car market, we have continued to grow our sales due to appealing and exciting products that distinguish us from other luxury car manufacturers. The coming year will see the introduction of further new and refreshed products and we are confident of increasing our share of the Indian luxury car market”.

Jaguar Land Rover’s Upcoming Models This Year

JLR recently launched the All New Range Rover in India for a whooping 1.72 Crores. It is one of the most capable SUVs across the globe. The press release confirms a series of launches coming in this year which include the much-hyped Jaguar F-Type, model year changes to the existing Jaguar XF and XJ. We also know that Jaguar will also launch the premium XJ Ultimate which we exclusively caught roaming around in Pune with hidden badges.

With a plethora of launches lined up,  Jaguar doesn’t want to play the minority game, not any more!
