For all you out there who love the Evoque and dream to own a Land Rover! There are good chances that we might be able to get to see a smaller and more compact SUV from the house of Land Rovers.
We talked about Jaguar and Land Rover planning to build compact cars to launch an attack on the 3 big Germans. In a few indications given by the company, Land Rover is mulling over a compact SUV to sit below Evoque. Land Rover is currently considering of going ‘smaller & lighter‘ in a bid to focus on sustenance. This is not surprising considering that we already have luxury players of the likes of BMW, Mercedes and Audi which are going down the ladder for more volumes.
It is well known that Audi is also considering a compact SUV Q1 to sit under its smallest Q3 currently. Slowly but surely, the luxury brands are entering the mainstream brands’ territories for more volumes.
After its launch last year, Evoque has sold more than 90,000 units of the SUVs till now.
