We have caught it ‘On Test’ last time as well but it was a white colored mule that time. A few days back we come across this black colored TATA Xenon which looked like a hoot!
Similar to the last catch, this was a Left Hand Drive Xenon which TATA exports to foreign left hand drive markets. This was a 4×4 DLE variant with ABS (according to the decal at the back). As is visible, the car is carrying big black cans and is most probably under load testing.
Tata also sells this stylish utility vehicle in India. It is available in EX 4X2 as well as EX 4X4 in 4 colors – Grey, White, Red and Black. Xenon is powered by the same 2.2L motor which pumps out 140bhp and 320Nm of torque. Tata is also running a Rs 40,000 exchange bonus on Xenon for this month. Priced between 9 lakh to 13 lakh on road in different Indian cities, Xenon is a “Go-Enjoy!” car.
