Mahindra Launches New Special Edition Bolero with ABS

To add a bit of liveliness to its ageing workhorse, Mahindra has launched a new Special Edition of the Bolero utility vehicle. The changes include cosmetic ones as well as feature additions in the interiors.

The new Special Edition Bolero comes with Pearl White exteriors. These are accentuated by the accompanying sporty decals. On the exteriors, the other new addition is the pair of Blue Vision headlamps. Though it isn’t clear from the pictures, we feel it could be the addition of a bluish tint to the headlamp glass.

On the inside, the new Special Edition Bolero comes with European Leather interiors. These will provide finesse to the usually bland interiors of the Bolero UVs. In addition, Mahindra has plonked on a music system with Bluetooth-cum-USB Connectivity for added entertainment and convenience.

The only technical addition remains the rear ABS unit, which will provide stability and prevent fishtailing of the vehicle under hard cornering and braking. The Special Edition Bolero will continue to be powered by the same old 2.5 Litre m2DiCR engine which churns out a peak power of 63 PS @ 3200 RPM and a maximum torque of 195 Nm @ 1400-2200 RPM.
