The SUV market is booming with more and more people getting interested in owning something else than the generic ‘soft’ cars. With a lot of fanfare the compact Renault Duster is just launched and bookings are already on fire.
In order to enjoy a pie of this segment, Mahindra is readying its workhorse mini-xylo and the mini-SUV has been caught testing a few times around. In a latest, Mrinal Shekhar sent us these pics of Mahindra’s Mini-Xylo sweeping across Pune’s streets around Chandni Chowk in front of MotoCafe.
It has been long since the car has been ‘under’ test’ and we expect Mahindra to launch it within two months. Also, Premier is readying its Rio 1.3L with Fiat-sourced MultiJet diesel engine and has plans to launch it in this month. We had spied the compact SUV in and out a few days back and revealed a lot about the car. So, another SUV is about to get ticked from our list of India-coming SUVs.
