If you thought the next big thing in this segment would be the Ford EcoSport, you were not entirely right. Not exactly in the same competition probably, but Mahindra Mini Xylo could prove to be another game changer for Mahindra.
According to reports published by AutoCar, Mini-Xylo could start at a price tag of as low as 4.5 Lac. We have already busted in ur earlier scoop that it would be a 7-seater. Now, if it is priced between 4.5-5.5 Lac, Mini Xylo would be the cheapest 7 seater diesel in the country and by far. Even if we consider it a 5+2 seater, it would make it one of the most luring bargains in the country.
We also revealed that engine would be a 3 cylinder mill. According to AutoCar’s report, the engine would be a 3 cylinder mill from Xylo but with reduced bore and strokes to bring the capacity under 1500cc. They have also reported that the engine would produce a power output of 100 bhp.
According to what we have seen of the cars interiors, they were nothing home to talk about quality and feelwise but had fairly good space at the middle rows, decent space at the front and is very cramped at the back. Now considering its price tag, this would sit under the current Bolero and seems like it has all the ingredients to make it as large as the Bolero at the sales charts, if not more!

So after today’s launch of new facelifted Verito, Mini-Xylo seems to be the next product from Mahindra. Launch is expected within two months for sure. So get ready for some grand action from Mahindra’s stables yet again.
