Mahindra Xylo Facelift Launched – Looks Much Better Now

Earlier today, Mahindra has launched the awaited Xylo MPV with a changed facia and added features. The following changes make way on the new Xylo –

  • Dual-tone interiors, though nothing has changed.
  • Door locks.
  • Fuel Lid.
  • Wipers.
  • Headlights.
  • Voice commanded phone call operations.
  • A new design grille up front.
  • New bumpers.
  • Curved Bonnet.
  • Decals.

Mahindra has upgraded the new Xylo technologically as well, they call it the “Extra Stability technology” which looks more like a newly designed Anti-roll Bar which is standard across all five variants namely: –

  • E9 – 10.25
  • E8 (ABS and Airbags) – 9.47
  • E8 ABS – 9.10
  • E4 ABS – 8.34
  • E4 – 8.11
  • D4 – 7.77
  • D2 – 7.37

The prices will start from 7.37 lacs for the base variant and will shoot up till 10.25 lacs for the top-end variant.

Interestingly, D2 and D4 are for Taxi or say Commercial purposes, E4 and E8 for family and E9 are the Luxury variants.

Digital Driver Assist (we’re yet to know how it works) and Electrically Operated ORVMs along with ABS, EBD and Air-Bags are standard on the top-end variant.

My personal comment on this is, it’s inspired by the Mahindra XUV 500 and might definitely give the Innova a hard time let’s see how the All-new Tavera Neo 3, Xylo and the Innova sum up.
