Matters or Not! Mahindra to Launch Electric Verito in 2 Years

It seems Mahindra would use the erstwhile Logan platform to build all types of cars in India. Currently, they only have the Verito sedan, facelift of which was recently launched by the company.

Mahindra also has plans to launch a compact sub 4-meter variant based on the same platform soon. News of a hatchback also surfaced a few days back. And, after acquiring Electric car company Reva, focus has also shifted to Electric cars.

The first product coming out would be the updated Reva NXR which is scheduled to get launched around Diwali and spy pics of which have been making rounds all over the web.

Mahindra would be launching an electric version of its entry level sedan Verito within two years from now. Alongwith there are other products from the current Mahindra line-up which are being tested for Electric options which include Bolero, Scorpio, Maxximo and Geo.

We wish there are sufficient charging stations all across the nation before we get to see Electric vehicles taking a mass precedence.
