BUSTED: 2015 Alto K10 Facelift Revealed: To Get AMT

Back in April this year, MotorBash shared first ever spyshots of the upcoming new Alto K10 facelift – a couple of mules which were snapped all camouflaged doing high altitude testing.

Today, we share completely uncamouflaged spy pics of the new Alto K10 which have been snapped by the folks at Gaadiwadi.com and gives us a much clearer idea of the new design of the new Alto.

As we have talked about earlier, these pics also confirm the presence of the Automated Manual Transmission, making it the second petrol run car in the country to get the AMT, provided Tata does not launch the Nano F-Tronic before them. The new Alto will also be launched with the regular manual transmission.

The front end of the car gets a new chrome plated radiator grille and borrows design cues from Celerio. According to the report, the Lxi variant, which is the lowest trim, shall continue to get power steering and air conditioning with heater function as standard. The AMT variant will be differentiated by an Auto Gear Shift badging at the rear tailgate.

The head lamp cluster gets sharper in design and the rear also gets redesigned. The fog lamp section also gets a new shape but will most probably be available only in the top trim. The car continues to be devoid of alloy wheels across all variants but gets blackened steel wheels with a full wheel cap in one or two variants (may be Vxi and Vxi+).
