New Punto Evo Spotted Along With Old; Interiors Revealed; Launch Soon

Barely a couple of days back, the first ever uncamouflaged spyshots of the new 2015 Punto facelift made way onto the world wide web. The new Punto will be called as Punto Evo and we have some new and interesting spyshots coming from two different sources.

Indianautosblog.com has shared a few pics of the upcoming new Punto Evo with the older car. And this convinces us that the new car does look a lot fresher and has a comprehensive new face and identity.

Starting with the eyes, the headlamps are bigger and more sweptback. The grille is more prominent and Punto Evo also gets a new air dam. The housing as well as the fog lamps themselves are new and have chrome surrounds. We also have a new chrome line running across the grille. The Fiat logo also moves up to the tip of the bonnet. The side blinkers are now integrated into the ORVMs (Outside Rear View Mirrors).

The second source, Teamfiat.co.in, has shared many new pics of the new Punto Evo which is the 90HP sports version. It also has interior shots of the car. The car now gets rear AC vents after Grand i10 in this segment and a similar dashboard as the new Linea facelift.

Apart from that, the detailing to the front and rear (the tail lamps) appears to be fantastic. New Punto Evo will continue to use the same set of engines – the 1.3L Multijet diesel in 75hp and 90hp options as well as the 1.2L and 1.4L petrol motors.
