These are not the first pictures of next generation Hyundai i10 being tested in India. Hyundai i10 has been caught a few days back as well.
Now, Motor Vikatan has spotted the Next Gen i10 in Chennai, under test. Here are a few features that we observed from the photos:
- An all new front grille and bumper
- Larger Swept Back headlamps
- New fluidic sculpture design
- New Side Lines
The most important addition is expected to be the inclusion of diesel engine to i10s lineup. As we have already discussed earlier, the next gen i10 is touted to get the-Cylinder CRDi Diesel Engine which is found in the European i20. A more fuel efficient 1.0-Litre Kappa Engine could also be there.
The fluidic designing sculpture is sure making the Hyundai Cars eye candy! Hyundai is expected to launch this radically different i10 at the Frankfurt Auto Show which is scheduled to be held next year, and it could go on sale from 2014.

We hope that Hyundai will bring out the new i10 with an hybrid unit and diesel unit in The Netherlands diesel and also hybrid is very popular and the new VW Up comes also with a very nice motorisation like diesel.
If Hyundai will get the respect than a hybrid i10 for the ordinary people will bring big sellings.
There is no cheap car with a hybrid, dacia has several cheap cars like the Logan and Sandero with a diesel for 9000 euro.
Hyundai is much expensive with their i10 but when this car comes with a new design and hybrid like the Toyota Yaris it will be a big hit.
