Nissan India has in an official communication confirmed that they have started accepting bookings for their compact SUV, the Terrano AMT. In Nissan terminology, the new transmission option is called as 6 Speed Advanced Auto Drive and will be priced in the range of Rs 13.75 lakhs to Rs 13.85 lakhs (ex-showroom, Delhi).
Rest of the mechanicals remain the same. The 1.5-litre diesel mill which churns out 110 PS of maximum power and 248 Nm of peak torque. The comfort of smooth computer-controlled gearshifts will lead to a stress-free drive in city traffic and on open highways and will definitely add to the ownership experience. Bookings for the Terrano AMT are now open for Rs 25,000 at Nissan dealerships. Deliveries will begin later this month.
The Terrano AMT also gets several new features. These include:

If we talk about fuel efficiency, the AMT version will return 19.61 kmpl while the manual version returns 19.87 kmpl. However, the Renault Duster AMT (which they call as Easy R) is priced around Rs 60,000 cheaper than the Terrano AMT. It also gets a more exciting features list in comparison to Nissan’s product.
