The recall involves 646 cars in all and includes 620 units of Pulse hatchback and 26 units of Scala sedan. These cars are manufactured between September 2011 and July 2012. They are manufactured as Sunny sedan and Micra hatchback in India by Nissan at their Chennai facility and Renault rebadges and sells them as Scala and Pulse respectively. Nissan has already recalled its brand of cars last year for the same issue.

This recall will involve a voluntary check on the possibility of driver airbag problems and necessary steps will be taken to ensure occupants safety, according to Economic Times.

So, if you own a Pulse or Scala (only diesel) manufactured between these timelines, you can connect with your nearest dealership to get the issue rectified.
