While on our way to Lonavala from Pune today, we were greeted by a honk: A look at the RVM and it turned out to be a fast moving TATA Xenon trying to cut through dense highway traffic. As soon as we could take our camera out, the car was at least half a kilometer away.
Nonetheless, in a high speed chase we were able to catch hold of the car, which took a ‘U’ turn midway. I was amazed at the offerings in the product:
- A Left Hand Drive, meant for foreign markets
- 4×4 Variant
- ABS
- Integrated side blinkers
- 2.2 VTT engine
- DLE Trim
- Was loaded with big black cans packed at the rear loading as could be seen from the pics. Possibly a hint that the car might be going through load testing.
TATA Xenon is available in both 4×2 and 4×4 form in India and is priced between 8 lakh to 12 lakh (OTR Prices in different cities). This car is a stylish utility vehicle which can carry your luggage and still look trendy.
