Every other day we receive a new update on the cute little, but underperforming, Tata Nano. From rags to riches, Tata is trying every inch of their brains to push life into the tiny tot.
These spypics published by Oncars.in reveal a test mule of Nano which is covered with a lot of test equipment for data logging and other important trackings. There is no specific give-away what is Tata testing on this mule with so much gadgetry, but this does become a generic suspect of being either the bigger 800cc petrol motor which Tata revealed a few months back or the most talked about diesel!
If we go by the claim, this is the bigger and more powerful 800cc petrol motor which is heavily tracked and data logged and is reported to have an inch bigger tyres and a new suspension setup to accommodate the bigger and heavier engine. The new 800cc petrol Nano is expected to make way somewhere towards the end of this year or early next year and will definitely command a premium over the current 624cc motor.
This engine will be more powerful and would fulfill requirements of those seeking more power from this fairly spacious (for its size) hatchback. This 800cc Nano petrol will live along with the 800cc diesel engine that Tata is currently testing.
