It seems ‘Aggression’ is soon going to be a synonym for Suzuki. After a massive onslaught of products we know under the Maruti Suzuki umbrella, the company is reportedly aiming to showcase two new products at the Geneva Motor Show which is scheduled for March. One would be a hatchback and the other would be a compact SUV.
Now both these segments are doing well not just in India but all over the world. The world, including big car markets like USA, is going compact and quite clearly sales of smaller cars have increased. As per a report on Autocar India, while the iM-4 compact SUV will be a new concept with dollops of ruggedness embedded in its DNA, the iK-2 hatchback is the same car which we have known so far as YRA (codename) which is undergoing development in various Suzuki centres around the world, including the one in Gurgaon.
This will be a global unveil for the iK-2, which will give us clear hints on how will the production YRA look like. We do not have any clear hints but does the iM-4 compact SUV have any relation with the YBA (Ford EcoSport, Tata Nexon and Mahindra S101 rival in India)?
