Tata Launches 90PS Vista D90 At a Luring 5.99 Lakhs

Flashback exactly 114 days back and MotorBash was the first to reveal this exclusive scoop of Tata working on a 90PS version of their Vista Quadrajet and today we have the car in front of us, officially!

Tata Motors has launched the more powerful 90PS version of their Vista and the car is named as Vista D90. Here are all the important pointers of the new launch.

• Vista D90 is powered by the same 1.3L Quadrajet diesel engine which produces 90PS and now comes with Variable Geometry Turbocharger (VGT). Normal 75PS comes with FGT (Fixed Geometry Turbo). Torque also goes up to 200Nm.
• Tata claims Vista D90′s as a better performer than Swift and i20. 0-100kmph is reportedly achieved in 15.5 seconds and the car goes to a top whack of 158 kmph.
• Vista D90′s ARAI certified mileage is 21.12 kmpl.
• Tata has priced the D90 at a very attractive initial price of 5.99 Lakh ex-showroom Delhi which is 1.37 Lakh cheaper than the 90HP Fiat Punto Sport. 
• The car comes with a warranty of 2 years or 75000 kms
• The Vista D90 comes with a conventionally placed console, finally, borrowed from the elder sibling Manza.
• Tata also mentions that D90 comes with a special NVH pack which hinders the noise percolating inside the cabin.
• Cosmetic changes include sporty front and rear bumpers, chrome pack, additional rear spoiler, contrasting roof and 2-tone alloy wheels.
• Best in class power to weight ratio of 76.3 PS/Ton
