Tata Launches New ACE EX2 in Sri Lanka at 899,000 LKR (~4.15 Lakh INR)

Ahead of its Indian sales, Tata Motors has launched the new ACE EX2 in the Sri Lankan market. Tata ACE EX2 belongs to the new family of ACE light commercial vehicles and comes with absolutely new interiors and exteriors.

ACE EX2 comes with a 700cc engine which is mated to a 5-speed gearbox. It gets 13 inch tyres, new low effort steering system. ACE EX2 gets new face with clear lens composite lamps from the circular of the current one which is on sale in India. ACE EX2 also gets metallic colors and a center mounted instrument cluster. The dashboard also gets completely reworked and features a digital clock, mobile phone charger, lockable glovebox and also has a provision for a music player.

Tata sells its vehicles in Sri Lanka through its authorized distributor DIMO (Diesel and Motor Engineering Plc). DIMO has been associated with Tata for over five decades. Tata launched the ACE in Sri Lankan market in 2006 and has sold over 40,000 vehicles till now. With the new ACE EX2 the company intends to increase its market share.

Tata’s new ACE EX2 comes with a warranty of 60,000kms or 24 months and is priced at 8,99,000 Sri Lankan Rupee which equates to Rs 4.15 Lakh INR. Tata has showcased the new ACE EX2 in the Indian market as well, however it is yet to go on sale. With its Sri Lankan debut, we expect Tata to launch this new improved ACE EX2 in the Indian market very shortly.
