If there was one car that was touted to stop the freefall of Tata Motors in the hierarchy, it was the Safari Storme. It started on a positive note, however, like all Tata’s current cars, things are not really looking green for Safari Storme as well.
To bring this new Safari into the limelight again, Tata has launched a new Explorer Edition of the SUV. Safari Storme Explorer Edition comes with customized outdoor accessories as well as enhanced in-car gizmos. Here is a list of all what the new car carries with it:

That list carries some really interesting kit specially for the frequent off-roaders who wanted to have a factory fitted accessories kit. Mechanically, Storme remains the same. It is powered by a 2.2L VariCOR turbocharged diesel motor which pumps out 140PS of peak power output and 320Nm of maximum torque.
Tata claims the 0-100kmph dash coming in under 15 seconds which is fast considering the size and bulk of the machine. Price of the Safari Storme Explorer Edition starts at Rs 10.86 Lakhs ex-showroom Delhi and it will be available at all dealers around you.
Unfortunately, we have received only these two snaps of the Safari Storme Explorer Edition in the press release. We have requested for some more which can clearly reveal the SUV. If we receive them, we will share with all of you.
