Though there is no mention of which ones will go on sale but it becomes apparent that the first products are the Xenons that has been launched in India last year. However, Australian market will get Euro 5 diesel engines as against our Euro 3/4 compliant ones.

Light commercial market is the third largest segment in the Australian new car market and they have as many as 13 major players vying for a pie each. To start with Fusion Automotive plans to appoint 13 new dealers by 2013’s end which they intend to increase to 25 by the end of next year.

At this occasion, Tata’s Managing Director Karl Slym said,

We are very pleased to announce our entry in Australia and this marks an important milestone in the continued expansion of our global footprint.  As we launch products tested and validated across some of the toughest terrains into the Australian market, we are happy to partner with the Fusion Automotive, who bring to table their tremendous insights for this market.
