New Innova Crysta Price starts at 13.83 Lakhs and it kind of justifies…
The cat is finally out of the bag. Quietly, Toyota has finally launched the Innova Crysta and the much anticipated new-Gen MPV starts at a price tag between Rs 13.83 lakhs and goes all the way uptil Rs 20.77 lakhs (ex-showroom, Mumbai). The premium pricing comes with an array of first in class features which will try to pamper the customers. Bookings for the new car begins from today while deliveries will begin only on May 13.
In its second generation avatar, the Innova Crysta emerges slightly bigger and glamorous in external appearance. It gets a new front grille, LED projector head lamps, new 16 and 17 inch alloy wheel options, electrically adjustable and retractable chrome finished ORVM and a smart entry system with push button start.
Interiors boast of silver and wood finish dashboard, indirect blue light illumination, automatic climate control, new driver instrumentation panel with 4.2 inch TFT MID and easy tumble seats.
The Innova Crysta is powered by two all-new engines. These include:
- A 2.4 litre diesel mill churning out 150 PS of power and 343 Nm of peak torque. This is mated with a five speed manual gearbox, returning 15.10 kmpl of fuel economy. This engine will be available only in G, GX, VX and ZX variants.
- The bigger 2.8 litre mill produces 174 PS of maximum power and 360 Nm of peak torque. It will be available only with a new 6 speed automatic transmission, helping the MPV return a fuel efficiency figure of 14.29 kmpl.
Both the engines will be available with Eco and Power driving modes. Safety features include 3 SRS airbags (driver, driver knee and front passenger), ABS, EBD, brake assist, three point seat belt for all passengers and ISOFIX child restraint system as standard in all variants. The top end ZX variant though gets 7 airbags, vehicle stability control and hill assist control in addition.

Toyota is offering the new Innova Crysta in three all new colours which include Garnet Red, White Pearl Crystal Shine, Avant-garde Bronze and the MPV will be sold as a 7 seater as well as an 8 seater option.
