Tata’s Bolt has revealed its interiors yet again in these new spyshots from Pune courtesy tushky, a Teambhp.com member. But there are some interesting bits that get highlighted this time.Bolt is to be released a few months after the Zest gets a showdown and is Tata’s biggest hope to get some volumes pushing in the B plus hatchback segment.
The test mule spotted looks exactly the same like the one our reader spotted near Chennai towards the end of March (here). Bolt and Zest, both part of the Horizonext strategy, are probably the best looking cars from Tata’s stables yet.
The test mule again has the same orange coloured dashboard and is loaded with features. The chunky yet sporty looking steering wheel has steering mounted controls for driver’s convenience. The intricately designed dash has a handsome dose of chrome and looks pretty neat, and with a bright colour, sporty as well. The gear knob looks pretty well finished and should be comfortable to hold. It also confirms that this is the regular manual transmission version. Then there is the presence of integrated infotainment system. These features certainly hint at a fairly well loaded ‘lower’ variants.
‘Lower’ variant because of the absence of alloy wheels, projector headlamps, airbags and the rear wiper. Apart from this, Tushky also mentions that this Bolt mule is running on 14 inch wheels and has powered mirrors. It also goes according to the earlier spotting of a different mule but had the regular interiors.
The interiors continue to look pretty spacious with plenty of room all around as is the case with current Vista. The car has pretty much the same imposing stance when it comes to exteriors.
Tata claims that these cars will be different than what people have usually associated Tata’s products with. Well they better be? With Narain Karthikeyan helping them out, they should be quite a thing. Only time will answer everyone’s anticipations though. Stay tuned for more details as they come.
