On February 24th, we told you that a Polish magazine has come up with leaked images of the forthcoming Volvo V40. And now we have a load of leaked images of the same car including interior photographs.
As we’ve already discussed about the exteriors, this time we won’t be long with that to consume your precious time. As we make out from the images, the cabin is attractively modern, traditionally designed using high quality materials.
The main attractions in the instrument cluster are the large sized digital tachometer and speedometer. The red colored background light in the console looks sporty and real amazing.
The high-mounted futuristic display updates the driver with crucial information. The mixing of cream colored leather upholstery and dark plastics looks beautiful and those satin chrome trimmed borders and inserts add an extra dimension to the feel of the cabin. The rim-less glass of the rear view mirror is a class apart!
The new V40 is supposed to replace the existing S40 Sedan and the V50 station Wagon. This Swedish hatch is supposed to compete with the BMW X1, Audi A3, Mercedes Benz A-Class and the Volkswagen Golf. So we are speculating that Volvo might place the price tag somewhere among the price tags of the A3, X1 and the A-Class.
This hatch will go public on 6th March at the Geneva International Motor Show. So, now we’re about to see a Swedish competitor for those giant Germans, what say?
