WagonR Felicity Edition Launched at 4.4 Lakhs: Gets Reverse Parking Sensors, 2-DIN Bluetooth Music System in LXI Variant

To keep up the momentum of sales and to bring back the car into headlines, Maruti Suzuki has launched a special edition of its fast selling small car WagonR called as Felicity (which means “intense happiness”). WagonR Felicity gets a lot of features over its corresponding regular variants to make for an interesting deal.

WagonR Felicity Edition: Features

The two main features of the special edition are…

  • Reverse Parking Sensors with display and voice guidance
  • Double-DIN Bluetooth music system with speakers (in LXI variant)

Apart from these, it gets added features like

  • Body graphics (which you can see below)
  • PU Seat covers
  • Interior styling kit (no details shared on what will the kit include)
  • Steering cover
  • Carpet Mat
  • Rear spoiler

Maruti says that this is a limited edition and will be produced in confined numbers, however the exact volume has not been specified.

WagonR Felicity Edition Price

They are offering the special edition in Lxi and Vxi trims in all variants which means it is available in all – petrol only, CNG and AMT transmissions. The Felicity Edition, which means, will be available in about four to five variants. The price will range from Rs 4.40 Lakhs to Rs 5.37 Lakhs. Maruti has shared the exact price of the following two variants…

  • WagonR Felicity Edition Lxi : Rs 4.40 Lakhs
  • WagonR Felicity Edition Vxi AMT(O) : Rs 5.37 Lakhs

Based on this and comparing it with the prices of regular variants, for the Lxi trim, they are charging Rs 31,000 extra (Regular Lxi is priced at Rs 4.09 Lakhs) while this increment is Rs 22,000 on the VXI (O) trim with AMT (Rs 5.15 Lakhs is the price of regular variant). All prices mentioned here are ex-showroom Delhi.

Maruti says that for the customers this will result in savings of upto Rs 13,500. So, basically you get the added feature set at a discounted rate plus the car you buy is slightly different from others.
