Maruti Suzuki, on Saturday, denied the rumors of moving out of Manesar, Haryana. The company said Manesar, along with Gurgaon will remain the companies manufacturing hub.
“All the rumours of Maruti moving out of Manesar is absolute fiction. We are not moving the plant out of Manesar and plan to restart the plant once the investigations are over and we have complete confidence in employee safety,” said the Chairman Mr. R. C. Bhargava. This was the answer to the questions related to Mr. Narendra Modi, the Chief Minister of Gujrat state’s visit to Japan. The company also said the plans to go to Gujrat are a part of strategic expansion and not of packing-up from Haryana.
However, we feel Maruti might shift majority of its work to Gujarat once they go full throttle there.
