A few days back, Team-BHP has shared the first set of spyshots of the new 2014 Indica Vista. Yesterday, they have come up with a couple more. The newer spyshots reveal a few more details about the facelift.
Going by the newer spyshots, the Indica Vista will probably grow larger. The rear section and the profile of the test mule are clearly visible, and they show that the car is somewhat longer. Could it be due to the changes that might be incorporated in the front and rear bumpers? We do not know!
Upfront, the test mule appears much more aggressive as compared to the current-gen Vista. The snout could be more radical in design; this is what we can infer from beneath the covers that have been used to hide the test mule to the smallest of screw. But do we expect a total shake-up to the overall shape of the car? Nah, it doesn’t appear to be so at the moment.
The spyshots also tell that the Christmas tree tail-lamps of the Vista will be shown the door. We might expect some snazzy looking upto-the-times tail lamps. The hatchback’s rear door has been reworked to accommodate the number plate.
As we can safely expect, 2014 Vista will continue with the same set of both diesel as well as petrol engines. We might get to witness its launch early next year. Tata Motors is looking to uncover a slew of new models in tune with its HORIZONEXT strategy for charting a comeback. As a first, we expect Tata to do away with the ‘Indica’ name and just call the new car as ‘New Vista’!
